Dat gebeurde op de Anton de Kombrug. Tijdens de herdenking werd er gezongen door een koor. Ook werden er kransen gelegd.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container--detail detail-text\">\n<p>&#8220;Het is heel belangrijk dat Keti Koti op de agenda komt, met name ook omdat er 7.500 Surinamers in Zaandam wonen&#8221;, aldus Nishall Bhagai van\u00a0Samen 1 Samen Sterk, de belangenvereniging voor Zaanse Surinamers, Antillianen en Arubanen.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens\u00a0<strong>een toespraak<\/strong>\u00a0riep burgemeester Jan Hamming van Zaanstad de regering op excuses aan te bieden voor het slavernijverleden van Nederland.
